OUR MISSION
The Metzenbaum Foundation enhances the quality of life for Geauga County citizens with developmental disabilities, and promotes public awareness of the needs and abilities of such individuals throughout the community. We support our clients through grants for funding adaptive equipment, adaptive housing modifications, respite care, therapy and other extraordinary expenses.Â
OUR VISION
The Metzenbaum Foundation is continuously working to bring funding and programming to the developmentally disabled population through our endowment and through a partnership with and specific funding by the Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Our vision is to combine resources and build relationships with our neighbors to nourish the lives of all individuals in this friendly place we call home.

VOLUNTEERS
The Metzenbaum Foundation is always looking for volunteers! Yearly, the foundation holds numerous events that require volunteers to be successful. From our Annual Carnival to Open Gyms the need is never-ending. Volunteering is a great way to start new friendships and enriches the lives of the residents in our community!
